Milk is being milked from Telman Ismailov’s lands in Klin

Agrofirm “Yelgozinskoye” has submitted a single application for participation in the auction for the sale of land plots with a total area of 243 hectares in the Klin district of the Moscow region, follows from the protocol of the auction. The procedure itself took place as part of the bankruptcy of the company AST – Kolkhoz Klinsky, which previously belonged to the former co-owner of the Cherkizovsky market, Telman Ismailov. The document says that the auction was declared invalid, but “Yelgozinsky” will be asked to conclude an agreement for the acquisition of these sites. The transaction amount will be 17.9 million rubles. The representative of the agricultural firm itself did not respond to Vedomosti’s request.

Ismailov, who was arrested in absentia back in 2017 on charges of organizing the murder of the owner of shopping malls Vladimir Savkin and the founder of Lyublino-Motors Yuri Brilev, as well as illegal arms trafficking, consolidated 3,500 hectares in the Klin district of the Moscow region even before the crisis 2008–2009 There, his AST group planned to build a new city of 1 million square meters. m, the businessman said in an interview with Vedomosti. But after the closure of the Cherkizovsky market in 2009, the company began to have problems with creditors and began to lose its assets. Ismailov’s companies, like the businessman himself, were declared insolvent.

The bankruptcy trustee “AST – Kolkhoz” Klinsky “has already put up land near Klin for sale several times, but until recently it was not possible to find buyers. Now they are sold in parts.

Agrofirm “Yelgozinskoye”, as stated on its website, specializes in the production of raw milk, the cultivation of cattle, grain and fodder crops. The owners of the company are Vasily Smetanin and Vladislav Mangutov. The first is engaged in agriculture, logistics and development. In particular, he owns the SDS-trans holding, which specializes in cargo transportation. He was also a co-owner and member of the board of directors of the First Automobile Plant named after L. V. Krause. A representative of DS Vostok, owned by Smetanin, told Vedomosti that there would be no comment on the purchase of plots in the Moscow region. Mangutov is a co-founder of a major IT distributor Merlion. He is also a co-owner of the development company Tekta Group (its portfolio includes Spires residential complexes on Nezhinskaya Street, Ever on Obruchev Street, etc.). The representative of the latter declined to comment.

Yelgozinskoye is unlikely to acquire land near Klin for the construction of residential or commercial real estate, according to one of the consultants who worked with it. According to him, it is more logical to consolidate all the lands of AST – Klinsky Kolkhoz and use them for the core business – raising cows and milk production. Aleksey Gruzdev, CEO of Streda Consulting, agrees with this. According to him, if the company decides to buy out all 3,500 hectares, then it can try to implement production for 2,000 heads of dairy cows on them.
